Access Statement

The Elmfield is a 9-bedroom-guest-house built in the Victorian era. Our aim is to ensure that our guests needs are catered for and a comfortable stay is ensured. The following statement is an outline of our provisions. Should you have any further questions please feel free to call and we do our utmost to be of assistance.


  1. We are located road side at the junction of Wellesley Road and Albemarle Road. Wellesley Road being a wide road.
  2. The nearest shop and cashpoint is Sainsburys which is a 2 minute walk.
  3. Great Yarmouth train station is a 5 minute taxi ride and the bus station is a 7 minute walk.
  4. The path to the front door is paved and there is 1 step to the front door.

Arrival at the Elmfield

  1. Once inside the front door we have a 10 metre hallway.
  2. There is a dining room immediately to the left with 8 tables.
  3. There are 17 stairs to the first floor and 10 to the second floor.
  4. All rooms equipped with ensuite facilities.
  5. We have spaces for 4 cars parking on the driveway which is to the side of our building. Parking is at car owners risk. There is also free parking on Wellesley Road. In case of fire one can exit either through the front door or through the rear door in the owners accommodation.
  6. The house is centrally heated and fitted with thermostatic valves so can be adjusted to suit individual needs.
