Reservations: No reservation will be confirmed until a complete booking form and deposit is received by telephone. email or post. Upon receipt of the completed booking form, confirmation will be sent to you by email or post.
Age of Restrictions: No chrildren under the age of 4 years of age.
Deposits: Deposits can be paid by cash or debit/credit card.
Payment: Settlement of account is taken 14 days prior to arrival.
Prices: The price includes accommodation only.
Cancellation: Once you have booked your stay our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you have paid is non refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 14 days before your booking date you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancelations after the 14 day grace, or failing to take up the booking, you will be liable for the total amount. ( You may wish to consider insurance to cover cancelations).
Non Availability: We will only cancel your booking if your accommodation is unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would offer alternative accommodation if possible.
Arrival: Booking in times are from 4pm to 9pm. Arrivals after 9pm are only by prior arragnment if possible with The Elmfield's staff. Failing to arrive by 9pm will be regarded as a no show and any deposit will be non refundable. Any balance owed will still require payment.
Departure: Please be ready to vacate your room by 10am.
Damages and Breakages: Please take care of our accommodation, you are responsible and liable for any damage or breakages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as they occur, as we do not normally charge for minor breakages. However we may send you an invoice if necessary for repair or the making good if the damage is significant. The Guest is responsible for any legal costs in claiminng of any moneys owed. For non reported damage, we may impose a levy of up to £50.00.
Changes to Accommodation: The Elmfield retains the right to change your room without prior notice.
Non Paying Guests: Regulations allow only paying guests in our rooms. Any non paying guests will be asked to leave immediately regardless of time, as this breaks the contract between the guest and the owner. You will be charged for the extra guest and may be asked to leave.
Liability: The Elmfield does not accept any liability for damage or loss of possesions or injury to you or any member of your party unless proven to be caused by a member of staff.
